Privacy Policy

This policy explains how SceneTrace handles information while providing short-drama records, search, players, reviews, and contact support.

Information we process

When you visit SceneTrace, we and our providers may process basic technical information needed to deliver and protect the site, such as your IP address, access time, page URL, referrer, and browser or device information.

When you use search, page links, or a player, we may process related usage data to understand site performance. Analytics storage is enabled by default; after you explicitly cancel it, analytics services may still receive limited technical signals that do not use analytics cookies.

When you submit a review, we process the name, email, rating, and review text you provide. The name, rating, review text, and date may be displayed publicly; the email is not public. If you contact us by email, we process your address, message, and necessary correspondence information.

SceneTrace also organizes public information about actors, creators, and other industry professionals. This material comes from public or official sources; contact us to request a correction or removal of inappropriate information.

How we use information

We use this information to operate and protect SceneTrace, provide catalog and search features, publish and manage reviews, prevent spam, improve page and record quality, and respond to data and privacy requests.

SceneTrace does not sell the analytics data we collect directly to advertisers. When a page displays advertising, third-party advertisers, advertising networks, and their service providers may process IP addresses, device information, page URLs, ad impressions, and ad clicks under their own policies. They may also set or read cookies or similar technologies for ad delivery, frequency control, measurement, and fraud prevention. Whether advertising personalization and related storage are enabled depends on your choices, partner support, and applicable law.

Cookies, analytics, and third-party content

Analytics storage is enabled by default; selecting “Cancel” disables it. We use a necessary preference cookie to remember your choice for up to 180 days. Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity help us understand page performance, clicks, scrolling, search, and visit paths. Clarity replays are reconstructed from page structure and interaction signals, not from a camera or operating-system screen recording. You can change your choice at any time through “Analytics choices” in the footer.

SceneTrace uses Cloudflare for site delivery, security, and review verification. Some drama pages embed a YouTube privacy-enhanced-mode or Dailymotion player. An embedded service may receive basic technical information and use cookies or similar technology under its own policy; SceneTrace's “Analytics choices” control does not govern it.

Third-party advertisers and advertising networks may place, read, or use cookies and similar tracking technologies when you visit a page containing ads. They may use these technologies to select and measure ads, limit repeated impressions, detect invalid traffic, and, where legally permitted and the required choice has been obtained, provide personalized advertising. You can manage these technologies through privacy choices offered on the page, partner opt-out tools, or your browser settings. Restricting cookies may affect advertising features but will not prevent access to SceneTrace's main content.

If you follow a link to ReelShort, Hongguo, or another external site, that service's privacy policy applies to the resulting visit.

Retention, security, and your choices

We keep information only as long as reasonably needed for operations, security, review management, handling requests, or meeting legal obligations. The period varies by information type.

We take reasonable measures to protect information, but no internet transmission or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

You may ask to access, correct, or delete information related to you, or request removal of your review. Contact the address below and include the relevant page URL when possible. Clearing browser cookies does not automatically delete information already sent to a provider.
