Loyal Family Suspected, Young Lord Opens Heaven's Gate with Sword
Drama premise Ye Ping'an, the young lord of Beiliang, was born with double pupils and auspicious signs. To avoid imperial suspicions, his grandfather Yuan Chungan had him poisoned as a child and sealed with golden needles, vowing to unseal at 18 noon. His father, King of Beiliang Ye Xiao, died of illness. The Zhennan King, under imperial order, took back military power and insulted the Ye family. At the critical moment, Ye Ping'an awakened at noon, swept away enemies with true dragon might, and unable to tolerate the emperor's ingratitude, raised an army to revolt, pointing his sword at the imperial gate to become emperor.
