During a heavy snow, Weiyang saves Pei Chen, the exiled crown prince of the Northern Kingdom framed in a royal dispute. They fall in love and pledge eternal vows. For years, Weiyang supports the family by selling pancakes, seen as a dowdy wife. Unbeknownst to all, she is actually the princess of Xia Kingdom, the foremost of five kingdoms.
