Paper Rose Part 2
After Kang Jian and Bai Yan divorce, Kang Jian realizes he still deeply loves Bai Yan and pursues her fiercely. However, a business rival's machinations lead to Kang Jian being investigated and taken away on bribery charges. Bai Yan uses her wits to rescue him. Kang Jian repents, voluntarily transfers to Yun County to start from the grassroots, determined to develop Bai Yan's hometown. They begin a long-distance relationship, but then comes the news of Bai Yan's childhood friend dying in the line of duty and her mother being diagnosed with cancer. Where will their love end? Will they forget each other or stay together through thick and thin?
