Water is Sweetest in Hometown - Episode 1

Screenwriter Zhao Chuan and director Liu Ziang are trapped by a corrupt businessman Zhou Shengxiong into a ten million bet: if they can't finish shooting in 15 days, they go bankrupt. The two flee to Hezhou, with zero funds and broken equipment. They get help from their first love producer, a comedic 'Huang Yao Wang Zuxian', and a retired big shot. After sabotage and internal strife, they stick together and fight hard. Finally, the film becomes a hit, the villain goes to jail, and Hezhou's scenery and 'Water is Sweetest in Hometown' are promoted to the world.
