The Black Cat's Wedding - Episode 1
Zhang Shun and Zhao Fang return to the village to force Old Zhang to hand over the land deed. On the way, they kick away a guiding black cat. Old Zhang is happy to see his son despite his ingratitude and wants to announce his marriage to widow Liu Guifen. The couple scolds Liu for potentially inheriting property, and they kill the black cat in anger. The next day Liu hangs herself. Unrepentant, they soon encounter a series of eerie events.
