Twelve years later, the two boys cross paths at football tryouts where Asher out performs Wyatt. The Bradshaw's not realizing Asher is their long-lost son, attack him relentlessly. They put him through physical and mental torture, egged on by their adoptive son. Until they uncover the shocking truth—Asher's the one they've been looking for.
